Million Dollar Drag Race will return to Montgomery Motorsports Park in Montgomery, Ala. on Oct. 20-23, 2016 and the Mini Million event will be held at the newly-renovated Galot Motorsports Park in Benson, N.C. on Aug. 19-20.

Past and Present Champions Crowned at Record Setting 20th Anniversary CARS Million Dollar Race; Complete Race Coverage

Montgomery, AL – The Cars Protection Plus Million Dollar Race celebrated its 20th Anniversary at Montgomery Raceway Park and the historic race broke records in both attendance and online views via MotorManiaTV’s Live Feed. This event marked the largest sportsman race and biggest paying drag race in history, with over 623 entries and 168,000 unique views online.

The main event held on Saturday was also the largest Million in history with 350 entries. As another way of saying thank you, Folk Promotions pulled one random free tech card from a list of drivers not entered into the million which brought the official car count to 351. This placed the payout in a different bracket, increasing the purse by $40,000. Robert Vogler from Winston-Salem, NC was the lucky winner of the drawing. Continue reading
